Milton American Baseball offers a summer travel baseball program for interested players aged 8-12yo in accordance with Cal Ripken guidelines (see birth chart).
Ages 9-12
Milton American Baseball offer two levels of summer baseball. Teams compete in either the Suburban Youth Baseball League (SYBL) or a 50/70 league (option for 11 & 12yos).
- "A" baseball competes in Cal Ripken districts (10-12yo) with multiple summer tournaments.
- "B" baseball competes in fewer tournaments and does not play in districts.
- In instances where there is enough interest for 3 teams, MAB reserves the option to have 3 tiered teams.
- In instances where numbers exceed roster limits (as imposed by leagues and tournaments), MAB may institute an 'alternate' program where several players are included as alternates on a team.
It is expected that players making a commitment to play are available throughout the season (including weekends).
Age 8
Milton American Baseball participates in the Friendship Summer League for 8-year-olds. This is a great introduction to summer travel baseball with weekday games against neighboring communities and a tournament bracket to end the season.
Registration
Registration will open April 7. Registration closes May 1. There is no late registration period. Please sign up during this window.
To be eligible for an 'A' team, players must declare that intention and attend a tryout (dates and times to be announced shortly).
If you wish to try out for an 'A' team, please register and add the 'A' to your enrollment at checkout.
Because of lead time for uniforms, please indicate your jersey number preferences. Because teams are not made, we will do our best to accommodate a preference; however, duplicates cannot be accommodated.
